A new philosophy for an enhanced client experience.

For over 20 years Virtual IT has been providing IT support for small business and over 10 years for Credit Unions. Like other IT support companies, we provided break/fix services - when something broke, we came and fixed it. During 2003 we began to become increasingly dissatisfied with this level of service for our customers. We had a desire to prevent problems before they caused our clients downtime. Through extensive research we discovered that downtime was by far the greatest cost associated with IT. We set out to create a service that would provide better service that prevents downtime while at the same time result in an IT budget cost savings. Through this journey, our IT reliability service philosophy was born and our flat monthly rate Peace of Mind Support Plans grew out of that philosophy.

Our IT reliability services are IT management services with a strong emphasis on monitoring and problem prevention. The typical IT services being provided to credit unions currently are break fix related – when there’s a problem the IT company comes and fixes it. Thus the IT company actually profits when the institution has problems even though they are being paid to take care of their network. Our philosophy is different in that we charge a flat monthly fee to remotely manage and monitor their complete network and thus we can only profit when the CU does not have problems.
